His Story

Geddy Trezak is a pop rock artist from Hobart, Indiana. He offers a vintage sound designed and packaged for modern ears, and his music is something the world has been missing out on. He wears his influences on his sleeve and includes many nods to British Invasion, power pop, psychedelic, and a slew of other odds and ends from all sides of the musical spectrum. Geddy is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and has been recording projects in his home ever since he was a teenager.

His career began to take shape when he was 14 when he was introduced to and learned how to record his own songs. He wears his influences on his sleeve and includes many nods to British Invasion, power pop, psychedelic, and a slew of other odds and ends from all sides of the musical spectrum. By 2019, he had written a few songs worth the wax and by 2020 formed his first band to play them out. With the assistance of his cousin and bandmate, Ryan Bentley, Geddy recorded five different songs between 2019 and 2022. These songs made it into the wild between live performances and homemade music videos. In 2022, Geddy started showing interest in making his own recordings, and between 2022 to 2024 he recorded the tracks that would become his first small step into the music world. In early 2025, he released some of the tracks onto streaming titled Demolition, a play on the “demo” quality and bare bones production style. Despite this, Demolition shows an early look Geddy’s recording skill and songwriting development.

Geddy currently attends Columbia College Chicago studying Audio Arts and plans to finish out his schooling. With an album under his belt he’s keeping the experience and knowledge he has gained in mind as he records and finishes up his next EP and album. In between school and work he can be found writing, recording, or eating a good, hearty meal. Geddy regularly plays venues across the Chicagoland area and dreams of touring and being signed under a record label.
